The difference between the bid price and the ask price is what you call the spread. It represents brokerage service costs and replaces transactions fees. Spread is traditionally denoted in pips – a percentage in point, meaning the fourth decimal place in currency quotation. Most often, traders decide which pair to trade based on the spread value. The lower the value, the more likely they will trade on that currency pair. Here is another video that will show you how to setup your chart to make the bid price and ask price visible.
