Walk forward optimization this one of the newest features in the strategy builder Expert Advisor studio. It helps the traders to recognize the over optimized strategies and to trade only the robust strategies. After the rubber strategies are selected the trader can build the portfolio expert advisors.
So what are the Portfolio Expert Advisors?
Same as the regular expert advises these are automated strategies that are coded. We place them on MetaTrader and they trade automatically. The difference is that with the Portfolio Expert Advisors we can trade many strategies into one single expert advisor. Or we can say that we have many expert advisors in one portfolio expert.
This saves a lot of time because we don't need to place each strategy on a separate chart window in MetaTrader but we can place many strategies into one Robert on one chart.
Imagine you trade with 30 strategies (what you will see in this course) and you have 30 expert advisors. You will need to open 30 different chards to place each expert advisor. But with the Portfolio expert advisors, you can trade all the strategies with one trading robot.
With this course, you will receive three such portfolio expert advisors for three different cross pairs. You will be able to practice with them and do actual trading. The mentor Petko Aleksandrov will show you how to follow the results for all of the 30 strategies in the portfolio expert advisors and how to remove the strategies that are losing on the current market conditions.
Everybody knows that each strategy has losing periods, and others have profitable periods. What we want to trade are the strategies that are currently in their profitable phase.
