Bitcoin (BTC) made a bullish breakout of a short-term corrective pattern and took the course to resistance around $55,500.

Between December 7 and 21, bitcoin was declining inside a descending parallel channel. On December 21, the BTC exchange rate managed to make a bullish breakout from this channel and trigger growth. This confirmed the fact that the short-term correction was over.

Two days later the price returned to the channel resistance line to test it as support (green icon). After testing, BTC resumed its movement to the north, accelerating the growth rate.

As a result, the market managed to reach the high of $50,950 on December 24.
