Bitcoin made a bearish breakout from the current price pattern that has persisted since December 4. This means that the BTC correction is not over yet.

Bitcoin marked a local low on December 4 and has been trading inside an ascending parallel channel ever since. On December 27, BTC hit a high of $52,088 inside this channel.

During the formation of the high, the market tested the horizontal area of $51,600 and the middle line of the channel as resistance. However, after that the price began to decrease.

On the 29th of December BTC made a bearish breakout from this ascending parallel channel and fell to the low of $45,900. Such price dynamics is a bearish signal and may cause further drawdown.
