How Many Forex Currency Pairs Should You Trade?
How many currency pairs should you trade as a Forex trader? That comes under 2 categories for me.
Are you swing trader or a day trader?
Day traders, stick to 4-6-8 pairs, keep it simple and less stressful since you're working on the lower time frames you can put more effort and energy into the handful of pairs that you choose and you're less likely to miss opportunity.
Swing traders, well, as many as you like really. Since swing traders are working on higher time-frames usually nothing below 4HR, it gives you time to analyse markets thoroughly with less stress and you're much less likely to miss opportunity because you have more time to make it to your charts and don't have to stare at them as much as a day trader typically would.
